Concurrently, the WCR is also adding a third line at the Damoh railway station between Katni Murwara and Bina, from August 26th to September 9th. In total, 46 trains have been canceled and 8 trains have had their routes adjusted due to these projects. This follows the cancellation of 72 trains from August 14th to 19th for a similar project at the Kalamna railway station. The recent cancellations include notable long-distance trains like the Nauatanwa-Durg Express, Durg-Ajmer, Visakhapatnam-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express, and Shalimar Express.

Umariya station ko teesri line jodne ka kaam 24 August se 5 September tak chalta rahega. WCR Jabalpur Rail Mandal, Katni Murwara aur Bina railway stations ke beech Damoh station ko teesri line se jodne ka kaam 26 August se 9 September tak hoga. Is kaam ki wajah se railway ne 46 trains ko cancel kar diya hai. Iske aalawa 8 trains ka route bhi change kiya gaya hai. 1st August ko SECR Nagpur Rail Mandal, Rajnandgaon-Kalamna rail section ke beech, Kalamna station ko teesri line se jodne ke liye 14 se 19 August tak 72 trains cancel ki thi. Kuch trains badal gayi hai, aur kuch 19 ke baad vapas aayengi. 13 din baad, railway ne fir se 45 trains cancel kar diya hai. August mein 117 trains ab tak cancel ho chuki hain. Cancel hui trains mein Nauatanwa-Durg Express, Durg-Ajmer, Visakhapatnam-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express, aur Shalimar Express jaise lambi duri ki trains bhi shamil hain.
