Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has also written to the Railway Minister requesting a later departure time than 5 a.m., arguing that it is too early for passengers to reach the station. The Vande Bharat Express takes six hours to complete the journey, despite an official timetable of six hours and 30 minutes, leading to confusion among travelers. Representatives of passenger associations highlight the potential for a slight travel time reduction to benefit passengers, especially given the high demand for the service, which was introduced based on the existing 130+ bus services and 2,000 passenger car units operating between Coimbatore and Bengaluru.

Officials ka kehna hai ki time adjust karne ki jagah hai aur Southwestern Railway, jo Omalur (Salem ke paas) tak ki line ka zimmedar hai, woh overall travel time adjust kar sakta hai. Coimbatore South ke MLA Vanathi Srinivasan ne bhi Railway Minister ko letter likhkar Vande Bharat Express ke departure time ko 5 a.m. se aage badhane ki request ki hai, unka kehna hai ki 5 a.m. bahut samay pehle hai aur passengers ko station tak pahunchna mushkil hota hai. Vande Bharat Express ko dono cities ke beech jaane mein sirf 6 hours lagte hain, lekin official timetable mein 6 hours 30 minutes diya gaya hai, jisse passengers mein confusion hota hai. Passenger associations ke representatives ka kehna hai ki travel time mein thoda sa badlav passengers ke liye kaafi faydemand hoga, khaas taur par jabki is service ki demand bahut zyada hai aur yeh service Coimbatore aur Bengaluru ke beech chalne wali 130+ bus services aur 2,000 passenger car units ko dekhte hue start ki gayi thi.
