persistent water seepage, forcing engineers to halt work initially. However, advanced technology has enabled them to resume operations. Anil Kumar Khandelwal, Member (Infrastructure) of the Railway Board, recently inspected the Srinagar-Sangaldan-Katra section, including Tunnel T-33. He expressed satisfaction with the progress and instructed the project authorities to continue work with close monitoring. The project, considered one of the most challenging in the Indian subcontinent, traverses through the young Himalayas, facing numerous geological complexities. Once completed, it will connect the Kashmir Valley to the national railway network.
