have yet to return to their duties a year later due to the psychological and physical trauma they sustained. Both pilots are now able to report to work but are still recovering. The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) report attributed the accident to faulty signalling caused by botched repair works, highlighting potential for prevention had repeated glitches been addressed. The case was handed over to the CBI, who arrested three railway officials. While the CBI has filed a chargesheet, there has been no further progress. Indian Railways has undertaken safety initiatives, including safety drives, inspections, seminars, circulars, audits and mock exercises with the NDRF. An independent safety audit of stations was also conducted, with 40 stations inspected so far.

Gunanidhi Mohanty aur Hajari Behera, abhi tak apna duty nahi kar paye hain, ek saal baad bhi, kyunki unko bahut bada psychological aur physical trauma hua tha. Dono pilots ab work pe jaa sakte hain, lekin abhi tak recovery kar rahe hain. Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) report ne accident ke liye faulty signalling ko blame kiya, jo botched repair works ki wajah se hua tha, aur bataya ki agar repeatedly glitches ko pehle hi address kiya jaata toh accident rokne ki sambhavna thi. Case CBI ko de diya gaya, jinhone 3 railway officials ko arrest kiya. CBI ne chargesheet file kar di hai, lekin uske baad koi progress nahi hua hai. Indian Railways ne safety ke liye kuchh initiatives liye hain, jaise ki safety drives, inspections, seminars, circulars, audits aur NDRF ke saath mock exercises. Station ka independent safety audit bhi kiya gaya, aur ab tak 40 stations check kiye jaa chuke hain.
