SWR to Replace Existing Rakes with LHB Rake

The South Western Railway (SWR) is replacing conventional train rakes with Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) rakes for four trains running between Hubballi and Chennai Central. The change will take place in two phases, starting on June 20, 2024, and then again on September 5, 2024. The trains affected are: 17312/17311, 22697/22698....

The SWR also announced the cancellation of two MEMU special trains between Bangarapet and SMVT Bengaluru on June 20, 27, 21, and 28, 2024, due to bridge construction work.
