The station will be equipped with modern facilities, waiting halls, senior citizen-friendly amenities, and a design reflecting local art and culture. The station will be transformed into a city center, attracting more travelers and creating job opportunities. Other stations in the Southeast Central Railway Bilaspur division, including Brijrajanagar, Belpahar, Raigarh, Baradwar, Champa, Korba, Janjgir-Naila, Uslapur, Pendrarod, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Bijuri, Baikunthpur, and Ambikapur, will also undergo significant development work, costing 181.66 crore rupees. Additionally, the program included the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone for road overbridges and underpasses, including those in Bishrampur, Datima, and Shiv Prasad Nagar.

Is programme mein road overbridges and underpasses ka inauguration aur shilanyas bhi shamil hai, jinmein Bishrampur, Datima, aur Shiv Prasad Nagar bhi shamil hain.
