On Tuesday, the Pratapgarh-Kanpur Intercity Express was canceled due to non-interlocking work at Jaitipur station on the Lucknow-Kanpur rail line. In the evening, it departs Kanpur at 5:30 PM, reaches Lucknow at 7:05 PM, and stops at Gauriganj at 9:15 PM. Many daily commuters travel on monthly tickets from Amethi, Gauriganj, Kasimpur, Jais, and Fursatganj. Commuters were informed about the cancellation four days in advance. The Jansadharan Express, operating between Anand Vihar and Danapur, was delayed by nine hours and arrived in Gauriganj at 9:38 AM instead of 11:55 PM. Passengers had to wait on the platform for the entire night. The Varanasi-Dehradun Janta Express was delayed by one hour and the Delhi-Varanasi Kashi Vishwanath Express by 1.5 hours.

pe aur Kanpur 9:40 AM pe pahunchti hai. Sham ko yeh train Kanpur se 5:30 PM pe chalta hai, Lucknow 7:05 PM pe pahunchta hai, aur Gauriganj 9:15 PM pe rukta hai. Amethi, Gauriganj, Kasimpur, Jais, aur Fursatganj se bahut saare daily commuters monthly ticket pe travel karte hain. Yaatriyon ko is cancelation ki jaankari chaar din pehle hi de di gayi thi. Anand Vihar aur Danapur ke beech chalne wali Jansadharan Express 9 hours late ho gayi aur 11:55 PM ki jagah 9:38 AM pe Gauriganj pahunchi. Is train ke passengers ko puri raat platform pe wait karna pada. Varanasi-Dehradun Janta Express 1 hour aur Delhi-Varanasi Kashi Vishwanath Express 1.5 hours late ho gayi.
