Telangana's Drug Control Administration (TSDCA) seized banned Ofloxacin and Ornidazole Suspension (50mg/125 mg) from a Jan Aushadhi Kendra at Secunderabad Railway Station. The drug, manufactured by Lok-Beta Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd in Thane, Maharashtra, was banned by the Government of India in 2018 due to health risks and lack of therapeutic justification....

The TSDCA is investigating the matter and will take action against violators. The public can report any complaints regarding illegal activities concerning medicines to DCA between 10.30 am and 5 pm on toll-free number 1800-599-6969.
