The protest was organized by the All India Loco Running Staff Association, who claim that most of the 15,000 engines in India lack air conditioning, leading to unbearable temperatures in the engine cabs reaching 55 degrees Celsius. They also highlighted the lack of comfortable seating, toilets, and proper safety equipment. They demanded that all loco cabs be air-conditioned, equipped with tools boxes, GPS-based RTIS, comfortable seats, toilets, and signal indicators within the cab. The protesters submitted a memorandum to the senior divisional electrical engineer of the loco shed.

Unka kehna hai ki India mein 15,000 engines mein se zyadatar mein AC nahi hai, jiske karan engine cabs ka temperature 55 degree Celsius tak pahunch jata hai. Unhone comfortable seating, toilets, aur proper safety equipment ki kami bhi batayi. Unhone demand kiya ki sabhi loco cabs air-conditioned hon, unme tools boxes, GPS-based RTIS, comfortable seats, toilets, aur cab mein hi signal indicators hon. Protesters ne loco shed ke senior divisional electrical engineer ko ek memorandum submit kiya.
