focus on connecting western and southern Odisha with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, forming a corridor from Asansol (West Bengal) to Warangal (Telangana). This will facilitate tourism, employment, and mineral security while also connecting Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha with ports on the eastern coast. The projects are expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 767 crore kg, equivalent to planting 30 crore trees. Notably, the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will be connected to the Indian Railway network, making it more accessible to tourists. Additionally, the government discussed the implementation of 3 crore new houses under the 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana', with ₹3,60,000 crore allocated for this project, aimed at building 2 crore houses in rural areas and 1 crore in urban areas.
