a technical glitch in electrification and delays in completing work on drains at the yard. The electrified pit line was commissioned on April 30. The Vande Bharat Express to Bengaluru is likely to commence service after the Lok Sabha election code of conduct ends. Passenger groups have requested the extension of three platforms at ERS to accommodate longer trains and the shifting of the Ernakulam-Karaikal Express stop to Ernakulam Town railway station (ERN) to free up platform space at ERS.

tha, yeh electrification mein technical glitch aur yard mein drains ke kaam mein delay ki wajah se tha. Electrified pit line ko 30 April ko commission kiya gaya tha. Bengaluru jaane wali Vande Bharat Express shayad Lok Sabha chunaav ka code of conduct khatam hone ke baad service shuru karegi. Passenger groups ne ERS ke teen platforms ko lamba karne ka aur Ernakulam-Karaikal Express ka stop Ernakulam Town railway station (ERN) mein shift karne ka maang kiya hai, taaki ERS mein platform space khali ho sake.
