Japan, expected in July-August. BEML is also exploring collaboration with ICF (Chennai) to build new rakes for the Dakshineswar-Kabi Subhas metro line, as the current tunnel size is not suitable for broad gauge trains. Currently, the East-West metro operates between Sealdah-Sector V and Esplanade-Howrah Maidan with 11 and 3 rakes respectively. Full service from Howrah Maidan to Sector V is expected to commence this year, increasing the need for additional rakes.

BEML Dakshineswar-Kabi Subhas metro line ke liye new rakes banane ke liye ICF (Chennai) ke saath collaboration karne ka bhi soch raha hai, kyunki current tunnel size broad gauge trains ke liye suitable nahi hai. Phir bhi, line broad gauge hai, but train ki kamar ka prast kam rakhna padega. Abhi, East-West metro Sealdah-Sector V aur Esplanade-Howrah Maidan ke beech chal raha hai, jismein 11 aur 3 rakes hain. Howrah Maidan se Sector V tak full service is saal shuru hone ki ummeed hai, jisse additional rakes ki zarurat padegi.
