expected to cost ₹15,611 crore, with ₹7,577 crore potentially funded by JICA. Construction is anticipated to begin by late 2025 and be completed by 2029. Once finished, the Orange Line will bring Bengaluru's total operational metro length to 222.2 km, serving over eight lakh passengers daily. Additionally, a 36.59 km Red Line extension is in planning, further expanding the network to 258.79 km by 2031. The project also prioritizes multi-modal integration at ten locations, including bus bays, pedestrian paths, and cycle-sharing facilities, for a more efficient and sustainable transportation system in Bengaluru.

Construction late 2025 mein shuru hone ki ummeed hai aur 2029 tak complete hone ki ummeed hai. Orange Line complete hone ke baad, Bengaluru ka total operational metro length 222.2 km ho jaayega, jisse har din 8 lakh se zyada passengers ko fayda hoga. Iske alawa, 36.59 km ki Red Line extension bhi plan mein hai, jisse 2031 tak network aur badhkar 258.79 km ho jaayega. Project 10 locations par multi-modal integration bhi de raha hai, jisme bus bays, pedestrian paths, aur cycle-sharing facilities hain, jisse Bengaluru ka transportation system aur bhi efficient aur sustainable ban jaayega.
