नए साल से नए स्वरूप में दिखेगा मुंगेर रेलवे स्टेशन, मुंगेर किला जैसा होगा स्टेशन का प्रवेश द्वार

Munger station, a lifeline for Kosi-Seemanchal, Mithilanchal, and northern Bihar, is undergoing a transformation under the Amrit Bharat scheme. The station is being redesigned to resemble Munger Fort, with a main entrance reminiscent of a fort's gate. The station will have two lifts for passenger convenience, and improvements to the...

exterior and interior are planned. These upgrades are aimed at enhancing passenger amenities and making the station resemble larger stations. Munger station, historically significant, has gained importance since the Ganga Rail Bridge became operational, connecting it to several districts. Passenger traffic averages 5,000-6,000 daily, with trains to Khagaria, Saharsa, Begusarai, and a daily express train to Jaynagar. Additionally, a weekly train each from Agartala and Gandhidham passes through Munger. Passengers have been requesting the replacement of DEMU coaches with MEMU (Main Line Multiple Unit) rakes on the Munger-Khagaria-Begusarai section, which is expected to address the coach shortage issue. There are five trains each for Khagaria, Saharsa, and Begusarai, traveling up and down daily. One express train runs from Munger to Jaynagar, and weekly trains from Agartala and Gandhidham also stop at the station.

Munger station, jo Kosi-Seemanchal, Mithilanchal aur uttari Bihar ko jodta hai, Amrit Bharat Yojana ke neeche ek naya look de raha hai. Station ko Munger Fort ki tarah banaya ja raha hai, iske main gate ko fort gate ki tarah banaya ja raha hai. Passenger convenience ke liye, station pe...

do lifts bhi lagengi, aur exterior and interior mein bahut se changes honge. Isse passenger amenities improve hongi aur station bade stationon ki tarah dikhta hai. Munger station ka itihaas bahut purana hai, aur Ganga Rail Bridge ke chalne ke baad, yeh station kai districton ke liye lifeline ban gaya hai. Har din 5,000-6,000 passengers ka aawagaman hai, Khagaria, Saharsa, Begusarai ke liye trains chalti hain, aur ek daily express train Jaynagar ke liye bhi hai. Iske alag se, Agartala aur Gandhidham se har hafte ek train Munger se guzarti hai. Passengers Munger-Khagaria-Begusarai section pe DEMU coaches ki jagah MEMU (Main Line Multiple Unit) rakes wale train chalane ki demand kar rahe hain, jisse coach shortage ki problem dur ho sakti hai. Khagaria, Saharsa, aur Begusarai ke liye har din paanch-paanch trains up aur down mein chalti hain. Ek express train Munger se Jaynagar jaati hai, aur Agartala aur Gandhidham se har hafte ek train bhi Munger station pe rukti hai.
