The RPF team is keeping a special eye on people with suspicious activities. Liquor is being smuggled by hiding it in different objects. Both domestic and foreign liquor are being brought in by smugglers. This liquor is to be sold at high prices to people in Bhagalpur on New Year's Eve. More cases of liquor smuggling are caught in trains coming to Bhagalpur from Bengal in the morning. Recently, the RPF team has caught several consignments of liquor in trains coming from Bengal. The GRP is also conducting a special campaign along with the RPF to recover liquor. Checking is being done with the help of dog squad to tighten the noose on liquor smugglers. On December 23, the RPF team recovered a consignment of 245 bottles of country liquor from the Vananchal Express coming from Ranchi. On December 24, a smuggler was caught with 14 bottles of foreign liquor from the Malda-Kiul Intercity Express. He was identified as Amar Kant Yadav from Budhuchuk police station area. RPF Inspector Randhir Kumar said that the liquor and the smuggler were handed over to the Bhagalpur Excise Department. The Inspector said that a special checking campaign is being conducted ahead of the New Year. A campaign will be conducted to stop liquor smuggling on New Year's Day. The police and excise department teams will conduct a special campaign on New Year's Day. The police headquarters has also asked to keep a close watch on road and river routes and conduct search operations to stop liquor smuggling.

Uski pehchan Budhuchuk thana kshetra ke Amar Kant Yadav ke roop mein hui hai. RPF Inspector Randhir Kumar ne bataya ki sharab aur taskar ko Bhagalpur utpad vibhag ke havale kar diya gaya hai. Inspector ne bataya ki navavarsh ko lekar special checking abhiyan chala ja raha hai. Naye saal par sharab tashkari rokne ke liye abhiyan chala jaayega. Naye saal par police aur utpad vibhag team special campaign chalaegi. Police mukhayalay ne bhi sharab tashkari par rok ko sadak aur nadi marg par kadi nazar rakhne w saarch abhiyan chalane ko kaha hai.
