The Forest Department has conducted a survey of the trees that will be affected. The Railways has also sent a letter to the local Land Revenue Office to measure the land for the approach road, which will extend 5 meters beyond the subway. The subway is expected to ease traffic congestion at the crossing, benefiting thousands of residents and railway employees who use the crossing daily.
