The incident led to an investigation by station officials, who found that the iron sheet being removed from the FOB was being cut with a cutter without proper safety measures. The investigation also revealed that a similar incident had occurred previously, resulting in passenger injuries. The DRM (Divisional Railway Manager), Vivek Bhushan Sud, has received the report and is investigating the matter to hold accountable the negligent officers.
