Currently, the bridge connecting platforms 7-8 and the bridge connecting platforms 1 & 2-3 are complete. The final section, connecting platforms 3-4, requires diversion of trains at platform 4-5, which has the most train traffic. The remaining work is scheduled to be completed in the next two months. Due to the lack of train diversions, the work has been stalled for the past month despite the project being ready for completion. The delay has created inconvenience for passengers who are forced to use the single existing footbridge during peak hours, leading to overcrowding.

Abhi tak platform 7-8 ko jodne wala bridge aur platform 1 & 2-3 ko jodne wala bridge ban chuka hai. Aakhri section, platform 3-4 ko jodne ke liye platform 4-5 par train divert karna hoga, jahan sabse zyada train traffic hota hai. Baki ka kaam aagle do mahine mein khatam karne ka lakshya hai. Train divert nahi hone ki wajah se pichhle ek mahine se kaam ruk gaya hai, halanki sabhi taiyaariyan ho chuki hain. Is wajah se musafir ek hi footbridge ka istemal karne ke liye majboor hain, aur peak hour mein bahut bheed hoti hai.
