RPF will conduct surprise inspections at stations and trains during this period. The RPF will also be scrutinizing all trains passing through Prayagraj Junction, Prayagraj Chhivki, Subedarganj, and Naini Junction. The RPF has been instructed to keep a special eye on VIP trains. Liquor smugglers are reportedly using VIP trains to transport liquor to other states. The seizure of liquor from the Patna Rajdhani Express is a prime example of this. Vijay Prakash Pandit, Senior Divisional Security Officer, RPF, said that security has been heightened across the division due to the elections. This is why the RPF is conducting checks at trains and stations.
