department. It's noted that these 43 elephants are moving in different herds in the area. The dense forest between Kokpara and Chakulia stations is a major elephant habitat. The railway tracks pass through this forest. Similarly, the railway track passes through the forest in several places between Chakulia and Kanimahuli passenger halt. The officer in charge of the forest division, Digvijay Singh, stated that the railway administration is informed about elephant movements near the railway tracks to slow down trains for elephant safety.

Halaanki van vibhag dwara soochit karne ke baad rail prashasan ne haathi prabhavit kshetra mein trainon ki raftaar dhimi kar di hai. Vidit ho ki yeh dono 43 haathi alag-alag jhund mein kshetra mein ghum rahe hain. Kokpara aur Chakulia station ke beech sunsunia jungle haathiyon ka ek pramukh thikana hai. Jabki is jungle se ho kar up aur down railway track gujre hain. Isi tarah Chakulia se Kanimahuli passenger halt tak bhi kai jagah par jungle ke beech se railway track gujre hain. Prabhari van kshetra padaadhikari Digvijay Singh ne bataya ki railway track se sate jangalon mein haathiyon ke aane ki soochna rail prashasan ko di jati hai. Taaki haathiyon ki suraksha ke liye trainon ki raftaar dhimi ki ja sake.
