The Shahi-Pilibhit section of the Izzatnagar division remains flooded, leading to the cancellation of the Tonkpur-Singrauli Express (15074) on 12 July and the Singrauli-Tonkpur Express (15075) on 13 July. Meanwhile, construction work on Platform 1 of the Chandigarh railway station, aimed at improving passenger amenities and operational efficiency, will necessitate a block from 5 August to 9 August. To minimize disruption, several train services will be shortened, diverted, or partially canceled. The Lucknow Junction-Chandigarh Express (15011) will be shortened to Ambala Cantt from 11 July to 8 August. The Ramnagar-Chandigarh Express (12527) will also be shortened to Ambala Cantt, with partial cancellation between Ambala Cantt and Chandigarh on certain dates. The Chandigarh-Lucknow Jn. Express (15012) will operate from Ambala Cantt instead of Chandigarh from 12 July to 9 August, with partial cancellation between Chandigarh and Ambala Cantt. The Chandigarh-Ramnagar Express (12528) will operate from Ambala Cantt instead of Chandigarh. The Saharsa-Amritsar Express (15531) will be diverted via Ambala Cantt-Sirhind-Sanehwal on certain dates, skipping Chandigarh station. The Amritsar-Saharsa Express (15531) will be diverted via Sanehwal-Sirhind-Ambala Cantt, also bypassing Chandigarh.
