coaches are designed to minimize casualties and damage in case of head-on collisions. Currently, 85 LHB coach rakes are available for 61 train pairs on the North Eastern Railway. These coaches can operate at a speed of 160 km/h and have been tested up to 180 km/h. Their design minimizes vibrations and provides a smoother ride for passengers. The North Eastern Railway is also working on strengthening its infrastructure by updating existing tracks and laying new ones. The goal is to improve passenger comfort and safety by gradually introducing LHB coaches in all trains.

Eastern Railway ne yeh faisla liya hai. LHB coaches ki khaas baat yeh hai ki agar head-on collision hota hai toh bhi yeh ek doosre ke upar nahin chadhte, jisse jaan aur paise ka nuksan kam hota hai. Abhi ke liye, North Eastern Railway mein 61 train pairs ke liye 85 LHB coach rakes uplabdh hain. Yeh coaches 160 km/h ki speed se chal sakte hain aur unka test 180 km/h tak ho chuka hai. Unka design aise bana hai ki passengers ko train mein jhatka bhi kam lagta hai. North Eastern Railway apna infrastructure bhi majboot kar raha hai, purane tracks ko update kar raha hai aur naye tracks bhi lagae jaa rahe hain. Unka aim hai ki LHB coaches ko sabhi trains mein laga kar passengers ka safar aur comfortable aur safe banaaya jaaye.
