to 140 crore INR, a final deal was not reached. This cancellation marks a significant setback for the Vande Bharat plan, which aims to introduce these high-speed trains on all long-distance routes. The Railways will now re-evaluate the cost of the project and invite more bidders to increase competition and potentially reduce costs. The cancellation is attributed to the high cost of the aluminum-bodied trains proposed by Alstom.

pehle hi Indian Railway ne yeh contract cancel kar diya hai. Ab Indian Railway ne yeh process dobara start karne ke liye aur time manga hai. Railway ne 100 Vande Bharat train banane ka contract 30 hazar crore mein nikala tha, aur Alstom India se baat bhi final stage tak a gayi thi. Le kin price pe dono ka agreement nahi ban paya aur railway ne tender cancel kar diya. Alstom ke MD Oliver Luison ne bataya ki price ke baare mein problem thi. Alstom ne 150.9 crore per train ki maang ki thi, aur railway 140 crore tak aane ki baat kar rahi thi. Le kin Alstom ne final 145 crore per deal karne ki baat bhi kahi thi. Railway ne is tender ko cancel karne se apne price ka assess karne ka mauka milega aur competition badhane ke liye aur bidders ko bhi include karega.
