This derailment is attributed to poor track quality, despite the Jabalpur Rail Division's engineering department spending crores on repairs. Concerns have been raised about the safety of the Western Central Railway, as this is the second such incident in a few days, the first being a derailment near Itarsi.

Ye derailment track quality kharab hone ki wajah se hua hai, yeh bhi jaanne ke baad bhi ki Jabalpur Rail Division ke engineering department ne repair pe crores kharch kiye hain. Western Central Railway ki safety pe sawaal uth rahe hain, kyunki ye kuchh dinon mein doosri aisi incident hai, pehle Itarsi ke paas ek train derail hua tha.
