Additionally, the carriage and wagon department staff are also facing possible disciplinary action due to a reported defect in the wheels of the derailed goods train wagons. Over 30 railway employees, including the loco pilots and guards, were questioned about the incident. The Mumbai Mail and goods train drivers were given counseling for several days following the accident, instead of being assigned duties. The accident occurred on July 30th when six wagons of a goods train derailed near Badabambo and Rajkharsawan stations, resulting in a collision with the Howrah Mumbai Mail. The collision caused damage to 18 coaches of the Mumbai Mail and disrupted train operations for 48 hours. Two passengers died and 22 were injured in the accident. The estimated damage to the railway is over 150 crores.

Iske alawa, goods train ke wagons derail hone ki wajah se carriage and wagon department ke staff par bhi disciplinary action ki ummid hai, kyunki wagons ke wheels mein kharabi ki baat samne aayi hai. Incident ke baare mein 30 se zyada railway employees, loco pilots aur guards se sawaal kiye gaye. Mumbai Mail aur goods train ke drivers ko accident ke baad kaafi dino tak counselling di gayi, unhe duties nahi di gayi. Accident 30 July ko Badabambo aur Rajkharsawan stations ke paas hua jab ek goods train ke chhe wagons derail ho gaye aur Howrah Mumbai Mail se takra gaye. Takraav se Mumbai Mail ke 18 coaches kharab hue aur 48 ghante tak train operations ruk gaye. Accident mein Mumbai Mail ke third AC coach mein do passengers ki maut ho gayi aur 22 passengers zakhmi ho gaye. Accident se railway ko 150 crore se zyada ka nuksan hone ki ummid hai.
