As the incident occurred outside the jurisdiction of the RPF police station, the local Madhupur police station took possession of the body, conducted a panchnama, and sent it to Deoghar for a post-mortem. The police are investigating to identify the deceased and have registered a case under the appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
