train services is causing resentment among locals, including farmers, lawyers, doctors, students, and business owners. A peaceful protest is planned for August 23rd, 2024, at the station square in Mailani. The protest aims to demand the introduction of passenger and express trains to connect Mailani and Pilibhit to major cities like Lucknow, Agra, Bareilly, Haridwar, Mumbai, Delhi, Saharanpur, Mathura, Jaipur, Dehradun, Amritsar, and Guwahati. The protest will also call for the construction of an overbridge at Madhotanda railway crossing to alleviate traffic congestion and an underpass at Sherpur railway crossing.

Protest mein Mailani aur Pilibhit ko Lucknow, Agra, Bareilly, Haridwar, Mumbai, Delhi, Saharanpur, Mathura, Jaipur, Dehradun, Amritsar aur Guwahati jaise badi cities se connect karne ke liye passenger aur express trains chalane ki demand ki jaayegi. Protest mein Madhotanda railway crossing pe traffic jam ko khatam karne ke liye overbridge aur Sherpur railway crossing pe underpass banwane ki bhi demand ki jaayegi.
