The meeting also discussed the ongoing rail corridor and station renovation projects under the Amrit Mission, with instructions to complete them on schedule. The MPs' frustration echoed sentiments previously expressed by Central Minister and Bilaspur MP, Tokhan Sahu, who criticized the Railway administration for the inconvenience caused to passengers and traders in the Budhawari Bazaar area. A report from Dainik Bhaskar revealed that over 370 express and local trains were canceled between August 1 and August 30, affecting over 593,000 passengers.
