Meanwhile, the Indore-Delhi Intercity Express, scheduled to depart from Indore at 5:10 PM on Saturday, was delayed by six hours and departed at around 11 PM. There is a growing demand for a suburban railway station on the Indore-Fatehabad rail line, which passes through the Super Corridor, due to increasing residential development and proximity to ISBT and the metro station. The existing Indore Railway Station is congested and further train operations are unlikely. The proposed station would facilitate access to the airport, ISBT, and other cities, benefiting residents and travellers.
