In recognition of their quick thinking and actions, the Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) awarded the loco pilots and assistant loco pilot a cash reward of Rs 15,000 each. The award was presented by KRCL's Senior Regional Traffic Manager and Chief Loco Inspector at Surathkal Railway Station.
