In Mumbai, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has initiated tendering processes for a geotechnical soil investigation and an underground utility survey along the upcoming 16 km Mumbai Metro Line 11 (Green Line), which will connect Anik Bus Depot to SPM Chowk through 15 underground stations. This line is intended to be the third underground line after Line 3 and Line 7. The geotechnical study aims to gather essential data on sub-soil conditions for the design and construction of the line. This study also helps to minimize potential damage to existing structures during construction. The project will be executed through a series of boreholes drilled along the line and at station sites. The report will incorporate details on soil conditions and existing structures.
