A 3.7 km extension of the green line from Nagasandra to Madavara began construction in 2019. The project, costing 298 crores, included the construction of stations at Manjunath Nagar, Chikkabidarakallu, and Madavara. While construction began 5 years ago, trial runs have not yet started.
