The NCMC cards facilitate seamless travel on Namo Bharat trains and other transport systems accepting NCMC, including Delhi Metro, DTC Buses, and Noida Metro. They also enable retail purchases, ATM withdrawals, and e-commerce transactions. The NCRTC has previously implemented digital QR code-based tickets through the 'RRTS Connect' app and paper QR code-based tickets through Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs). These TVMs also recharge NCM cards. Currently, Namo Bharat trains operate on a 34 km section between Sahibabad and Modinagar North, with service expected to expand across the entire corridor by June 2025.
