Deepak Patwal, Hari Singh, Sanjay Lal, and Kuldeep stated that on May 1st, a list was posted at the railway worksite, indicating the removal of 20 workers. Subsequently, a list of 48 workers was posted, resulting in their termination. They highlighted that the railway project is expected to continue for another two to three years and argued against their removal during this time. They appealed to the Trade Association and student organizations for support, urging them to prioritize local employment. On the other hand, Chakradhar, HR Admin of the executing company, Rithvik, clarified that the action is being taken as per regulations, in connection with the completion of a specific part of the project.
