These projects, spread across six states, will add 1020 km to the existing railway network, facilitating the transportation of various commodities like food grains, fertilizers, coal, and steel. They are in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a “New India” and are expected to contribute to achieving climate goals, minimizing logistics costs, reducing oil imports, and lowering CO2 emissions.
