Malkangiri, Bhadrachalam, and Pandurangapuram. The line will also offer better connectivity to industries, benefitting Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and provide a shorter route to power plants from the Mahanadi coal fields. It will be a disaster management backup route for Odisha and will improve access to food grains, fertilizers, agricultural products, and cement. The project is expected to facilitate economic development in the tribal areas of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
