This system is currently operational at Patna Junction, DD Upadhyaya Junction, Dhanbad, Barkakana, Chopan, Nesubogo-Gomo, Muzaffarpur, Barauni, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Jaynagar, and Narkatiaganj. The railway is further planning to install this system at 12 other stations, including Ara, Buxar, Danapur, Pataliputra, Islampur, Bakhtiyarpur, Kiul, Rajgir, Singrauli, Gaya, Saharsa, and Samastipur. This system aims to reduce water wastage, conserve the environment, and ensure that trains no longer need to be stopped for extended periods to fill water. Trains with a 10-minute or longer stop at Patna Junction and other stations can be easily refilled using this system.
