Separately, in Bhubaneswar, Ranjit Buildcon Ltd. was awarded a ₹561.21 crore contract for the construction of 6 elevated stations on the 7.122 km long Package BBC-03 of the Bhubaneswar Metro Phase 1 project. The contract covers a section of Corridor 1 connecting Capital Hospital to Acharya Vihar Square. This is the first of three civil packages awarded for the project, with a 36-month completion deadline. Ranjit Buildcon, having previously worked on Ahmedabad and Surat Metro projects, will design and construct the elevated viaduct and stations for the Bhubaneswar Metro.
