Prime Minister Modi also announced plans to connect Gurgaon with Faridabad by Metro. Separately, in Bhubaneswar, Ranjit Buildcon Ltd. was awarded a ₹561.21 crore contract for the construction of 6 elevated stations on the 7.122 km long Package BBC-03 of the Bhubaneswar Metro Phase 1 project. The contract covers a section of Corridor 1 connecting Capital Hospital to Acharya Vihar Square. This is the first of three civil packages awarded for the project, with a 36-month completion deadline. Ranjit Buildcon, having previously worked on Ahmedabad and Surat Metro projects, will design and construct the elevated viaduct and stations for the Bhubaneswar Metro.

Alag se, Bhubaneswar mein, Ranjit Buildcon Ltd. ko ₹561.21 crore ka contract diya gaya hai, Bhubaneswar Metro Phase 1 project ke Package BBC-03 ke 6 elevated stations banwane ke liye. Yeh contract Corridor 1 ke ek section ko cover karta hai, jo Capital Hospital se Acharya Vihar Square tak jaata hai. Yeh project ke liye di gaye teen civil packages mein se pehla hai, aur iska completion deadline 36 months hai.
