No worries if Hampi is rerouted..thanks But the reason why i proposed is UBL-SBC can get short distance train connected, can take load of RC and GG if they are running with saturated demand. 2nd reason is GR can get another train in slot of Basava from SBC to GR which is useful to reduce load on YPR-SUR and useful for RC/WADI and other KA regions too...and mind when proposal sent there was no consideration of YPR-Bidar Its... more...
SWR first should propose new lines . Infact all the projects like HAS-YPR , CMNR GC, SMET GC, MAQ-HAS GC were proposed by SR but completed in SWR regime. SWR should propose new routes like TK-DVG, WADI-BGK, MRJ-BGK-GTL, MYS-TTR-CTA, SMET-Harihar
If all AC coaches are re-aligned to one end, you can think of do any of the solutions, after detaching all AC coaches at YPR/ SBC. 1. You have 3 trains at hand -- GG, Basava and Hampi during day time Send one each to HAS, ASK and SA and with 10-12 coaches. 3.5 to 4 hour journey one way. TAT 1 hour. Return 3.5-4 hours. Total 8-9 hours. Attach AC coaches and realignments will take 1 hour. Total 9-10 hours, you are providing a train to these locations without any effort. 2.... more...
Hampi arrives at 6 AM, GG by 0730 and Basava by 10 AM. Return timings are 5 PM, 7 PM and 10 PM. You have solid 11 hours in hand for all these trains. Better run to these places instead of MYS.
All projects are onpaper only. Ground progress is big ZERO. First try to utilise available resources -- like coaches and railway lines properly. Scrap HMRDA agreement. With the kind of reputation for executing projects SWR has, no one will feel confident to sanction any new project under SWR.
