Southern Railway: Here's List of Projects to Complete in Next Two Months

Southern Railway in India has seen significant progress in electrification and infrastructure upgrades. Double lines between Nagercoil Town and Kanyakumari, Aralvaimoli and Nagercoil Jn, and Tirunelveli and Melapalayam are also nearing completion, expected to be finished by the end of January 2024. The Arakkonam-Jolarpet section speed has been increased to 130 kmph, while eight other sections have been increased to 110 kmph. The railway plans to increase the speed of 12 more sections to 110 kmph, totaling 374 km. The Jokatte-Thokur line doubling work is also expected to be completed by March. New lines between Chinnasalem-Kallakurichi and Karaikal-Peralam are expected to be finished by June 2024.

Arakkonam-Jolarpet section ki speed 130 kmph tak badha di gayi hai, aur aath aur sections ki speed 110 kmph tak badha di gayi hai.
