also been installed at key locations, allowing passengers to purchase unreserved tickets. QR code scanning is being piloted for Passenger Reservation System (PRS) ticket bookings at four stations. The QR code system allows for easy mobile wallet or UPI-based payments, promoting cashless transactions. The system has been extended beyond ticketing to departmental stores, food plazas, toilet facilities, and parking lots within stations, enhancing passenger convenience. Divisional Railway Manager Shilpi Agarwal highlighted this as a significant step in making railway travel more passenger-friendly and efficient.

Iske alawa, 12 key locations par 25 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) bhi install kiye gaye hain, jisse passengers unreserved journey tickets aur platform tickets easily purchase kar sakte hain. Division four stations par Passenger Reservation System (PRS) ticket bookings ke liye QR code scanning ko bhi pilot kar raha hai. QR code system se passengers mobile wallets ya UPI-enabled bank accounts se payments easily kar sakte hain, jisse cashless transactions ko promote kiya ja raha hai. Ye system ticketing se aage badhkar departmental stores, food plazas, toilet facilities aur station premises ke parking lots par bhi available hai, jisse passengers ko apni journey ke dauraan different transactions karne mein aasani hoti hai.
