The area is home to numerous landmarks like Ullal Sayyid Madani Dargah, St Sebastian Church, Sri Vitobha Bhajana Mandir, Sri Chirumba Bhagavati Temple, Ullal Bandikotta Uliya Malaraya Temple, St Sebastian College, Madani Junior College, the historic Urdu School, and a major commercial center. The culturally significant Dr Ambedkar Rangamandira, known for its annual celebrations, also draws thousands who cross the railway tracks daily. Residents have urged authorities for immediate action and submitted a memorandum to the Senior Divisional Engineer of Southern Railway (Palakkad division). They have also threatened legal action if the issue is not addressed. The petition was supported by members of the Ullal Taluk Amateur Kabaddi Association.

Culturally significant Dr Ambedkar Rangamandira, jahan har saal Sri Krishna Janmashtami aur Mosaru Kudike celebrations hote hain, mein bhi hajaro log aate hain jinhe railway tracks par se guzarna padta hai aur unki life har roz risk mein hoti hai. Residents ne authorities se prompt action lene ke liye kaha hai aur unhone Senior Divisional Engineer of Southern Railway (Palakkad division) ko memorandum submit kiya hai. Unhone yeh bhi dhamki di hai ki agar issue ko address nahin kiya gaya to woh legal action lenge. Ullal Taluk Amateur Kabaddi Association ke members ne is petition ko support kiya.
