Train services between Bengaluru and Mangaluru hit again due to landslips

Train services between Mangaluru and Bengaluru were disrupted on August 10, 2024, due to landslides between Ballupete and Sakaleshpur in Sakaleshpur taluk. KSR Bengaluru Express (16512), and Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Super-Fast Express (16596) were affected. Railway staff are working to clear the debris, and food and tea have been provided to stranded passengers. Senior officials are monitoring the situation.
