once track is doubled the passengers will be able to enjoy the Speed and time saving on this route. hopefully 'Goods Traffic' won't occupy the time of speeding trains

He is talking about, Alipurduar in WB and Katihar in Bihar, but I feel that if these divisions are moved out of NFR, ER will try to terminate trains in Siliguri and Alipurduar which are in WB and ECR railway will try to terminate trains in Bihar. And it will become very difficult to extend trains to DBRG and other remote places. And it will be closure of gateway to rest of India, as they need to take permission of Katihar and Alipurduar divisions for introduction of new trains. It is very important to have control over trade routes in any part of the world.
