A controversy has erupted at Durg Railway Station over the removal of a picture of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar from the Chief Ticket Inspector's office. A protest erupted at Durg Railway Station after a statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar was removed and discarded in the garbage. Hundreds of Ambedkar's followers gathered at the station, demanding action. Railway officials assured them of action, which eventually calmed the situation.
