Successful Trial Run Of First Electric Train Between Sangaldan And Khari Stations

On February 15, 2024, the first electric engine train with eight coaches successfully completed a trial run on the Sangaldan-Khari section of the Banihal-Katra section of the Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project in Ramban district. Division, declared the trial run successful, with the Banihal-Sangaldan section now ready for operation. The remaining Sangaldan to Reasi stations are in their final phase of construction. The completion of tunnels, bridge tracks, platforms, and other works in Banihal, Khari, Sumber, and Sangaldan stations is nearing completion. A high-speed trial is scheduled for February 16, following a trolley inspection on February 15 by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS). Train operations will commence between Khari and Sangaldan stations after these inspections. The Chief Admin Officer of the Northern Railway Construction Organisation for the USBRL project urged the public to refrain from crossing the railway lines, as it is considered trespassing and punishable under the Railway Act.

Banihal, Khari, Sumber, aur Sangaldan stations mein tunnels, bridge tracks, platforms, aur other works ke completion final stage mein hain. February 16 ko Khari-Sangaldan section ka high-speed trial scheduled hai, jo Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) dwara 15 February ko trolley inspection ke baad hoga. In inspections ke baad, Khari aur Sangaldan stations ke beech train operations start honge. USBRL project ke liye Northern Railway Construction Organisation ke Chief Admin Officer ne public se railway lines cross karne se refrain karne ka request kiya, kyunki yeh trespassing hai aur Railway Act ke under punishable offence hai.
