BJP Orissa unit demands for 2 new trains to improve rail connectivity for Odisha. Ahead of the Rail Budget 2015, the BJP, Odisha unit headed by State President Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo has requested the Rail Minister Shri Suresh Prabhu to introduce two new trains that will improve rail connectivity for Odisha.
1) One of these is the introduction of a new Bhubaneswar- Mumbai Duronto Express.
2) The other new train requested is a Titlagarh- Allahabad Express.

Singh Deo has said that keeping in view the fact that lakhs of Odia people now work in Mumbai in all sectors, mainly Govt and private companies, IT and labour class, a direct point to point, non-stop Duronto Express will not only reduce travel time but will also be otherwise very convenient .
A direct Titlagarh- Allahabad Express will cater to the Western Odisha and Southern Chhattisgarh population, who will be saved extra journeys to Bhubaneswar, Raipur or Vizag.

#There should be direct trains to destination such as JAT and VSG
urgent need to connect PURI with SVDK (KATRA) and JAT......as lots of people from across Odisha have to either go to NDLS or HWH to get direct train to Vaishno Devi which takes lots of time and hardship to reach the destination.
The HWH VSG train to Goa passes through BBS but it is over crowded
#Increase in number of trains going to CSTM, SBC, SNSI, ALD, GAYA, PDY, LKO and PUNE
#Need a train from BBS to LKO via SBP, GAYA and ALD to benefit people from western Odisha
At present only Neelachal Exp is the only train passing LKO, ALD ....ALD is considered to be an holy city for us if we want to go for pilgrimage, there is no train from SBP thus we have to take train from TATA, DNB or HWH
There is only one weekly train for SNSI,PDY,GHY from BBS and PURI.....there should be increase in frequency
BBS-LTT EXP, BBS-YPR, PURI-GHY,BBS-MAS, BBS-RMM service should be made daily instead of weekly
