approval from the Railway Board and Union Cabinet before construction can begin. The terminal will be part of the larger 287-km circular railway project for Bengaluru, currently under feasibility study. The terminal will be built independently and bypass rail routes are being planned to connect it to other stations. The circular railway project aims to improve local train services, reduce congestion, and integrate with the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) and Namma Metro. It will run DEMU/MEMU trains and facilitate seamless transfers to the Devanahalli terminal. The project was announced by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in November 2022 and will link key locations like Nidvanda, Doddaballapur, Devanahalli, Malur, Heelalige, and Solur.

Bengaluru Railway Division, city ke key railway stations pe congestion kam karne ke liye ek transformative project pe kaam kar raha hai. Ek railway official ne bataaya ki Devanahalli mein ek bada terminal banane ki plan hai, jisme maintenance facility bhi hogi, jiske liye Rs 2,500 crore ka budget hai. Viksit...

Bharat initiative ke under, yeh terminal 200 acres mein ban raha hai, jisme 10 platforms honge. Yeh KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwanthpur aur Bengaluru Cantonment jaise busy stations pe pressure kam karne ke liye hai. Official ne location ke baare mein bataaya ki yeh Devanahalli Halt station se 4 to 5 kilometers door hoga. Lekin, is project ke liye Railway Board aur Union Cabinet se approval chahiye, kyunki isme bohot paisa lag raha hai. Yeh terminal, Bengaluru ke 287-km circular railway project ka part hai, jiske feasibility studies chal rahe hain. Terminal, circular project ke complete hone ka intezaar kiye bina banta rahega. Terminal ko nearby railway stations se jodne ke liye bypass rail routes banane ki planning bhi chal rahi hai. Circular railway project, local train services ko strong banane, existing rail networks mein congestion kam karne aur Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) aur Namma Metro ke saath integrate karne ka target rakhta hai. Is network mein DEMU/MEMU trains chalaaye jaayenge, jisse long-distance trains wale rail lines pe pressure kam hoga. Circular project complete hone pe, Devanahalli terminal tak train transfers aasan ho jaayenge. Yeh project Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ne November 2022 mein announce kiya tha aur yeh Nidvanda, Doddaballapur, Devanahalli, Malur, Heelalige, aur Solur jaise key locations ko jodta hai, aur aakhir mein Nidvanda pe hi jaake khatam hota hai.

ja raha hai. Hum 200 acres mein yeh terminal banane ka soch rahe hain aur land ki availability pe kaam kar rahe hain. Isme kam se kam 10 platforms honge jahan trains chal sakti hain. Jab yeh ban jayega, toh KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwanthpur aur Bengaluru Cantonment railway stations pe congestion kam ho jayega, jo ki abhi saturated hain. Hum ek aisi location pe soch rahe hain jo ki existing Devanahalli Halt station se 4 ya 5 km door ho. Is project ko Railway Board se aur phir Union Cabinet se approval lena padega kyonki isme bahut zyada cost involved hai. Yeh 287 km circular railway project ka hissa hoga jo ki city ke liye propose kiya gaya hai. Lekin terminal ka construction project ke complete hone ka intezaar nahi karega aur independently banaya jayega. Planning chal rahi hai ki terminal ko bypass rail routes se dusre nearby railway stations se connect kiya jaaye. November 2023 mein Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ne circular railway project announce kiya tha, jiska aim city ko decongest karna hai aur Nidvanda, Doddaballapur, Devanahalli, Malur, Heelalige aur Solur ko connect karna hai. Is project ki feasibility study currently chal rahi hai.

Yes but SWR still restricts to only east bound trains towrads jolarpet. It has lot of scope to introduce new train with PM or SM and station turnaround to east and also to North Dharmavaram but SWR is rejecting the proposals saying limited connectivity but they can give halt at KR Puram and Byappanahalli.

If you observe train routes and timings, no train passes through Bangalore to other cities (for example JTJ SA towards DVG/ DMM side). This is because of loco reversal at SBC or at SMVB. At SBC, no link to JTJ and YPR lines.
These restrictions lead to less connectivity.
If BWT Chikkaballapura line gets linked to DMM line at Gauribidanur/ Hindupur, part of problem can be solved. If Devanahalli Doddaballapura gets linked, it is also ok. If Doddaballapura gets linked to Tumkur line, it will be superb.

project ke neeche banaya ja raha hai. We are looking at building it on 200 acres aur land ki availability pe kaam chal raha hai. Isme kam se kam 10 platforms honge. Jab yeh ban jaayega, toh KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwanthpur aur Bengaluru Cantonment railway stations pe bheed kam ho jaayegi, jo abhi bahut crowded hain. We are looking at a location that would be 4 or 5 km away from the existing Devanahalli Halt station. Is project ko Railway Board aur fir Union Cabinet se approval lene ki jaroorat hai kyunki isme bahut paisa lag raha hai. Yeh 287-km circular railway project ka hissa hoga, jo city ke liye proposed hai. Terminal ka construction circular project ke saath saath hoga, isme koi delay nahi aayega. Jab circular project ban jaayega, toh trains ko yahaan shift karna aasan hoga. Is project ke feasibility study chal rahi hai.

The Union government, through Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, has expressed interest in taking over the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) from the State government. this willingness, following similar statements by Bengaluru South BJP MP Tejasvi Surya. The BSRP is currently being executed by a joint venture between the State government and Indian Railways, but faces delays. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier set a 40-month completion target, but the State government has now set a new deadline of end-of-2027. Meanwhile, the Railway Board has approved initial works for a 287-km Circular Railway Network for Bengaluru, connecting towns like Doddaballapur, Devanahalli, Malur, Heelalige, and Solur.

Union government, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ke through, Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) ko state government se leke chalane ka interest dikha rahe hain. Vaishnaw ka mannana hai ki Indian Railways is project ko technology-intensive project hone ke karan zyada jaldi pura kar sakta hai. Ye pehli baar hai jab Union...

BSRP abhi state government aur Indian Railways ke beech joint venture se chal raha hai, lekin isme delay ho raha hai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ne pehle 40 months mein project complete karne ka target rakha tha, lekin state government ne ab end-of-2027 ki deadline set ki hai. Iske saath hi, Railway Board ne Bengaluru ke liye 287-km Circular Railway Network ke initial works ko approve kar diya hai, jisme Doddaballapur, Devanahalli, Malur, Heelalige, aur Solur jaise towns connect honge.
