The 46 km Reasi-Sangaldan section, which features the Chenab Bridge, has already been tested with a MEMU train. The bridge stands at an impressive height of 359 meters, surpassing the Eiffel Tower. The USBRL project, spanning 272 km, has already seen 209 km commissioned in phases since 2009. Once the Reasi-Katra section is operational, Kashmir will be connected by rail to the rest of India. This project, which began in 1997, passes through challenging terrain and is a monumental achievement in engineering.

The Chenab Bridge, built over the Chenab River gorge in Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, stands taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris at a height of 359 meters. Construction works for the USBRL project are nearing completion with only tunnel No. 1 partially unfinished. A two-day inspection of the 46-km Sangaldan-Reasi section of the USBRL, including the Chenab Bridge, is scheduled for June 27th and 28th by the Railways Safety Commissioner D.C. Deshwal. The inspection is part of the final preparations for the section's commissioning.

Subsequently, a list of 48 workers was posted, resulting in their termination. They highlighted that the railway project is expected to continue for another two to three years and argued against their removal during this time. They appealed to the Trade Association and student organizations for support, urging them to prioritize local employment. On the other hand, Chakradhar, HR Admin of the executing company, Rithvik, clarified that the action is being taken as per regulations, in connection with the completion of a specific part of the project.

aur Kuldeep ne bataya ki 1st May ko railway worksite pe ek list lagi thi jisme 20 workers ko kaam se nikalne ki baat thi. Uske baad 48 workers ki list laga kar unhe kaam se hata diya gaya. Unhone kaha ki railway project abhi do-teen saal chalta rahega, aur is time me unhe hata diya ja raha hai. Unhone Trade Association aur student organizations se samarthna maanga hai, unse kaha hai ki local employment ko priority de. Dusri taraf, executing company Rithvik ke HR Admin Chakradhar ne bataya ki project ke ek hisse ka kaam khatam ho raha hai, aur is wajah se regulation ke mutabiq yeh action liya ja raha hai.
