more... originally called Yavatmal–Murtizapur Junction–Achalpur railway, was built in 1903 by the Killick, Nixon and Company to transport cotton from the region to Mumbai. It was converted to broad gauge in 2020. The museum opened on January 28, 2022, and features both outdoor exhibits like engines and coaches, and indoor displays of rare artifacts like antique clocks, furniture, and signaling equipment. Visitors can learn about the history of Indian railways and the importance of the Shakuntala line.
